Hi, dear citizens
This is my first 50-day reportage.
First, I need to apologize because of any possible typo or anything similar in this report, because this reportage is a direct friendly talk between me, the MASTER of
eJahan, with you and nobody else edits this report.
Recent 50-day period was very controversial. I’ll describe anything is needed.
A) loader, duki777 and vracar oleg
This was an issue which started in last days of 300s and lasted until first days of 400s. We were checking citizens to find possible bug usages. I decided to check
company accounts, because I guessed if anybody used a bug, he/she may hide the fake money in company account and since nobody except me could see the money
in company account, they could escape of getting banned.
I started to search and found something interesting: In a 5-star company, there was more than 300 Tala. That was unusual, does a 5-star company need 300 extra
Tala? I started to check the source and found something more interesting! The owner made fake Tala using a bug in company market and hid them in that company.
What was the bug?
1. Place a company in company market, with base price of 10 Tala and bid step of 1.5 Tala.
2. With your CA (e. g. CA1), place a bid for that company. The company will be reserved for you and 10 Tala will be decreased from your account.
3. With another CA (e. g. CA2), make a higher bid. CA1 will receive back his 10 Tala, and 11.5 Tala will be taked from CA2, but because of a bug, the value was saved 12 Tala in DB.
4. With CA1, place a higher bid again. (12 + 1.5 = 13.5) Tala will be taken from CA1 and 12 Tala (not 11.5 Tala) will be paid back to CA1.
5. Continue this process, and you will have tons of Tala!
The situation showed that the owner absolutely knew that he is using bugs, and did nothing to report that. So I banned the CA for using bugs, and when I tracked the money, I found out that a large amount of this fake Tala was donated to loader, the owner of that CA. So loader was banned for getting money in illegal methods.
I told the bug detection way to guards, and they checked it and found 3 other conflicts: 2 in Serbia and one in Iran.
I know banning 3 tanks in a heat of war makes doubt about helping the other side, but I never thought in this way.
But about their situation, the team decided to put them in jail, so they will get unbanned soon.
B) v2, bugs, bugs, bugs
eJahan v2 was released after all jangles, all difficulties and … But seriously, we never expected that new version will have so many bugs. When we started the preview version, we hoped that all citizens help us in fixing bugs, but in fact, not more than 0.5% of them really “tested” the game. All tickets we received were about typoes, graphical errors and some small bugs.
We planned v2 for a big change and we accepted the risk and made a bet with our 400-day history. If we won this betting, many citizens could come into game and if we lost, we lost these active players.
All features were made base of social cooperation, such as new industries, new war module and … But we realised that this way not worked, and we are making some changes in v2. Just wait!
C) Company bug
An stupid bug which made the biggest trouble for the game. What was the bug?

The bug usage occured when we disabled the daily backups due to some server issues, so we had no backup earlier than the last minutes of v1.7.
I approve that the team failed in taking action against this issue, and this made many troubles for us. We decided to return back all companies
What we had?
1. The old owners of the company
2. Stocks which were sold, sorted by days
3. Money which was spent
So I made a forum topic and shouted an announce, telling citizens that who can they receive back their company, but after some minutes and having a conversation with Cata055, we decided to put a survey, asking citizens about the destiny of the game. When the votes (YES/NO) for having a reset where going close to each other, I realized something: We cannot do anything about new active citizens (which they were many) and finished purchases, and after a friendly talk with our former super moderator Chesire, we found that returning back the companies is better than removing the history and write it again.
I apologize all citizens who involved in this issue, and I approve that we acted very late and very slow. I was 1200km far from my home when I foundout this bug and decided about the action when I was in airport! I am doing some actions to improve the acting speed in future issues (e. g. giving access for locking the game whenever an issue occures, to active citizens).
D) Future plans
We are negotiating with some coders, graphists and other staff. We will register the company and eJahan will become an official game and you will see the improvements soon. As you know, we have active embargoes, so we cannot make profit directly. Credit card payment and purchasing servers is not available in our country easily and I’m trying to make an alternative way for them.
We are preparing to start the EPIP (eJahan Performance Improvement Plan) project, which will present you eJahan v2.1 (without any official announcement of course). The EPIP project contains 4 main sections:
1. Server Improvement
2. Graphical Improvement
3. Gameplay Improvement
4. Reputation Improvement
Sorry for this long reportage and for the 1-day delay for it. I’m very busy on my college exams, so I couldn’t finish this reportage ontime (as always not?!).
